Walking by holding on to something

I cant remember exactly when he put his first foot forward but it was somewhere around February. Since then he has been holding on to something and moving. Arnav is completely mobile now as far as I see, he is making me run faster:)
Now he holds on to sofa and walks all around till the other end. He is even easily moving from one thing to another. The best I noticed it earlier he used to sit in the bouncer and play, now he plays from outside and moves around to play with all the animals in bouncer, his horsy, piggy, sheep and cow and the never ending chicken roll, I think I will right a complete new blog about the bouncer, that's been his best present from our friend. Standing up for 30 sec

Before our 11 months old starts standing up completely, I must write that he is making all attempts to stand for like 10 sec then 20 sec, I think the longest I have seen is almost 30 sec. It's really funny, I notice the moment I tell him, look Arnav you are standing, he gets all aware and sits down:). This is been happening from almost when he was 10 months.
So I decided not to make him notice that he is already standing.
Sometimes its so funny to see him when I say "let's stand up" and he will stretch his hands like titanic movie and then try to stand for a while and then sit down again on other occasions the moment I say "lets stand up" he would simple fold his legs so he can sit:) I just don't have any picture of these will post when available.

Crawling at the beginning of new year 2010

So finally at 8 months our little one is crawling. I was so thrilled that day he started crawling, probably one of the biggest milestone at that age. 
I was busy cooking a so amazed to see that he actually crawled right near me to the temple at our home. Firstly I just couldn't believe and guess what when I put him back he came crawling once again, after that its been like forever. I think for the new moms the hardest thing to believe it yes, there little one has really grown big, I couldn't believe when he started crawling, but then I think all babies do grow at their pace.

Just turned 11 months

It's being so long since I posted something. Even though so much has changed since my last blog.
Arnav turned 11 months. I must say its being the most exciting 11 months have seen so much change in him, babies really grow fast.
It was a weekend and the first day of spring on March 21, as one my neighbors mentioned while we were heading outside to drive to York River State park in Virginia.

I had no idea it would be such a beautiful place. Arnav was busy splashing water. Someone  rightly said picture speaks thousand words. If picture speaks so much think of what a video can speak:)

My First Christmas 2009

Let it snow let it snow let it snow......guess what it had already snowed over a feet long by Christmas day here. Everywhere you look it was only snow.

More than anything, I first thing I wanted to do for Arny in Christmas was to knit a red and white sweater and a matching booties, offcourse not to mention the Christmas stockings. For the first time in life I had got this opportunity. Here is the picture of Arny wearing them, I know every mom would love had knit something for there loved ones. It was really a mesmerizing moment for me. Booties are below that I made for Arnav, I realized later, I didnt have any picture where he had them, only one where Arnav is actually eating them.

BTW, we had been thinking to taking a picture of Arny with Santa....I mean the real Santa not the air filled that we see most of the time. I must say we hardly got time to get out until Christmas Eve, only to realize that Santa had closed it shop everywhere by 6 PM in evening. I bet next year we sure will catch that snap.
